  Professional snowboarder Shaun White took the gold medal in the mens`halfpipe competetion at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics this past Monday, February 17th. Sean, a rider for the US snow board team, has been snow boarding since the age of six and went pro at the age of thirteen. In 2006, he also won the gold in the halfpipe at the Torino Winter Olympics. Beyond his Olympic medals, Shaun has also taken many medals from both the Summer and Winter X Games.
