We just launched new RSS widgets. The new interface for RSS widgets gives the option to add more than one feed, to organize them with tabs, and assign personalized colors and patterns to the widgets.

The widgets are designed for companies or organizations that want to spread their content or promote their products on social networks, especially on Facebook, because just by pushing the “share” button, you can publish the widget on your wall to share it with your friends or fans, and they in turn promote it.

In the upcoming days, we will add features such as a user registration or user run advertisements. Until then, I leave you with an example of an RSS widget.

For those of you that follow us, we are updating the Widgadget website. We have launched the desktop widget and now, it’s the E-commerce Widget´s turn to be launched.

The E-commerce widget loads products in your e-commerce store and distributes them in the internet, but not only that, the widget includes a link for users to buy your products directly which will improve your ROI of your campaigns and conversion. Thinking of the bloggers, we have created a widget that allows you to upload products so you get earn extra income every time one of your readers clicks  on a product of the widget. It is an excellent complement to the ¨adwords¨ because the members pay significantly more than their friend, Google and above all, do it before Google.

Why should I use an e-commerce widget?

When are they available?

Before the middle of June, they will be in production so that you can promote your products by the end of this Summer. Take your vacation now so you can launch your promotion right when you return! Summer is a good time to get motivated on promotion knowing that a lot more people browsing the internet during their free time during Summer.

It has been a while since we have posted an entry in our blog because we have been working on the launch of the new generation of widgets. During the upcoming weeks we will be enabling the new desktop widgets, vertical widgets dedicated to e-commerce or our new service of publishing contents on Facebook.

Before we jump the gun, the first widget we will bring to light will be the new desktop widget. For those who don´t know, a desktop widget allows you to receive contents directly on your desktop from the computer of the users, in the format of Windows, Mac, Linux or mobile phone. The contents become part of an RSS/ATOM feed that you can obtain from your webpage or blog.

The first thing you may notice is that the interface has changed into a more intuitive format. There are two interface options: “Basic” for free widgets and “Premium” for those of you who need advanced or professional functionality.

We feel especially proud of our new template system. With the simple click of a mouse, you can change the layout of the contents, colors or even the plot of the widget.

Another aspect that we have improved is the management of the feeds. With our new support of more versions, you can utilize RSS/ATOM and the most interesting feature is the new ability to use tabs to organize the feeds and show more than one source of data. The entire interface is “drag&drop” meaning you can conveniently drag the elements across the window in order to organize and arrange them in the most appropriate way.

With the advanced options, you can completely eliminate the references to Widgadget both in the widget as well as the “help” and “related to” pages. This option will be of great interest for communication agencies that want to utilize the services of Widgadget without displaying the Widgadget logo.

In this version, all Premium users can eliminate the Widgadget advertisements and are able to insert their own advertisements in the widget.
